The simple definition of feminism is the advocacy of social, economic and political equality of the sexes. Despite over 100 years of fighting for equality, women in the UK still face issues, including street harassment and the gender pay gap. We must continue our fight and as Emmeline Pankhurst once said, we must never surrender.
